In the Formula Mod C question type, student responses require a formula that matches the correct answer to within an additive constant (+C).
This type is designed for indefinite integration problems, in which the answers differ by a constant of integration. You do need to include the constant in the correct answer.
In a test, the additive constant, C, appears after the input field, as follows.
